>>Bears Shift Gears From Big Win Over Panthers

(Lake Forest, IL) --  The Bears are turning the page from Sunday's comeback win over the Panthers.  Head coach Lovie Smith praised the fourth-quarter play of quarterback Jay Cutler yesterday while speaking to the media.  Chicago will travel to Nashville to face the Titans this Sunday.

>>Rams Pick Up Pieces After Loss In London

(Earth City, MO)  --  Rams head coach Jeff Fisher addressed the media yesterday following Sunday's
45-7 loss to the Patriots in London.  Fisher said that despite the blowout loss,
he was pleased with how the team handled the week overseas and all the
distractions that come with it.  St. Louis enters the bye week at 3-and-5 and
will take on the 49ers in San Francisco on November 11th.

>>NFL Pushes Back Trade Deadline Due To Storm

(New York, NY)  --  The NFL is pushing today's trade deadline back 48 hours due to Hurricane Sandy. 
The league announced yesterday that the trade deadline has been moved from 4
p.m. Eastern Tuesday until 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.  The league office is
closed due to the storm.

>>Bulls Tip Season Tomorrow

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Bulls get the regular season underway tomorrow night when they host the Sacramento Kings at United Center.  Chicago went 5-and-2 in the preseason, which wrapped up last
Friday.  The Bulls will play at Cleveland on Friday night before returning home
to welcome New Orleans on Saturday.

>>NHL Reportedly To Cancel Winter Classic This Week

(New York, NY)  --  The Winter Classic is reportedly next on the chopping block due to the
NHL lockout.  According to ESPNNewYork.com, the NHL is expected to cancel the
annual outdoor game on Thursday.  The Winter Classic is scheduled for January
1st between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs at Michigan Stadium.
