Central Illinois Food Bank Gets 5300 Pounds of Donated Pork

The Central Illinois Food Bank received a 5,300 pound donation yesterday from the Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA).

Kristy Gilmore the Manager of Food and Agency Resources with the food bank says that products that are high in protein, like pork are integral to the food bank.

Gilmore says that she is glad the IPPA and the food bank have been working together.
