Tyler J. Brandis 19 of Taylorville was going east on township road 2100 North when Brandis went off the roadway on the north side of the road.

Brandis traveled 430 feet off the pavement and corrected to come back on the pavement. Brandis left 230 feet of skid marks on the roadway and struck the ditch on the south side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to rollover.

Brandis stated that he had been drinking. Brandis was issued a zero tolerance with a result of a .091 blood alcohol level. Brandis was also issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Brandis' 2008 Ford F100 was towed from the scene and there was no medical treatment received by Brandis.
