United Way of Christian County executive director Joni Beyers this (Fri) morning announced her resignation from the position effective December 20th.
In a statement e-mail’ed to United Way officials, Beyers stated that she and her husband are expecting their second child so she have decided to take on a new adventure and be at home with their son and newborn baby when he or she arrives.
Beyers added that it’s been a pleasure to work with the United Way over the last 4 ½ years, and that Christian County is lucky to have such passionate volunteers working for those in need.
Beyers said that a search committee has already begun work on her replacement, and that she hopes to continue to work with the United Way as a volunteer in the future.
