Even though economic times are tough, new businesses are opening in Taylorville. The President and CEO of the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Patty Hornbuckle says a movie theater and reastaurant are set to open soon.

Quizno's is located where Long John Silvers used to be on North Webster Street. The movie theater is on the North side of the Taylorville Square.
