The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Chillifest Committee held their monthly meeting Monday night at the Chamber board room. Committee members began the detailed planning for the event, which takes place on the Taylorville square October 13th and 14th.
Chamber president and C-E-O Patty Hornbuckle told Regional Radio News that the committee is an outstanding team that makes the event happen each year.
Hornbuckle added that the most amazing thing she reported on during last night’s meeting, was that Cleeton Sanitation has stepped up to become the official waste handler for Chillifest this year.
And, Hornbuckle says Chillifest will be rain-free this year.
