The recent tragedy involving a plane crash on Rich Street is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.

Peter Knudson (ka-nude-son) Spokesperson for the NTSB says that an investigator will gather a lot of information for the investigation.

Knudson says that an investigation can take a long time to be completed.

The accident occurred on Rich Street at 11:25 Saturday morning and residents of houses in the area of the crash were evacuated until Sunday morning.

30 year old Brandon Sparrow of Augusta, IL the pilot of the plane was killed in the accident.
