>>Cards Dump Dodgers

(St. Louis, MO)  --  David Freese and Tony Cruz plated two runs apiece as the Cardinals cruised to a 7-4 win over the Dodgers.  Jake Westbrook struck out six over seven innings of four-run ball to
improve to 9-and-8 on the season.  Jason Motte [[ Mott ]] fanned the side in the
ninth to nail down his 22nd save.  Matt Holliday clubbed a solo homer, and Allen
Craig and Matt Carpenter also knocked in runs, as St. Louis took three-of-four
from Los Angeles at Busch Stadium.

>>Cubs Host Cards

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Cubs are back at the Friendly Confines this afternoon as they open up a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals.  Travis Wood will toe the rubber against Lance Lynn in
the opener.  The Northsiders took two-of-three at Pittsburgh in their last
series, but dropped Wednesday's finale to fall to 40-and-57 on the season.

>>White Sox In Arlington

(Arlington, TX)  --  The Chicago White Sox are in Arlington this evening to kick off a three-game series against the Texas Rangers.  Chris Sale gets the nod opposite Yu [[ You ]] Darvish in the
opener.  The Southsiders are coming off a three-game sweep of the Minnesota
Twins to improve to 53-and-45 on the season.

>>Bears Acquire DT Price

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  The Chicago Bears have acquired defensive
tackle Brian Price from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an undisclosed 2013 draft
pick.  Price, the 35th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, started 14 of the 15
games he played last season and 14 of the 20 in his career.  The 6-foot-1,
303-pound UCLA alum registered 24 tackles and three sacks in 2011.

>>Bears Place Knox On PUP List

(Bourbonnais, IL)  --  The Chicago Bears have placed wide receiver Johnny Knox on the physically unable to
perform list as he continues to rehab from back surgery.  Knox said there is
still no timetable for his full recovery.  Knox suffered a fractured vertebra
which reacquired surgery on December 18th in a game against the Seattle
