(Milwaukee, WI)  --  Rickie Weeks' fourth-inning solo homer held up as the Brewers clipped the Cardinals, 3-2.  Jon Jay doubled in a run and Carlos Beltran knocked in the other run on a sac-fly
for the Cards, who have lost four-of-five since the break.  Joe Kelly yielded
three runs, two earned, in six frames as he fell to 1-and-2.  The teams wrap up the series, with coverage starting at 12:30 on Newstalk 97.3 WTIM

>>Holliday Leaves After HBP

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday left last night's loss to Brewers after being hit by a pitch.  The injury occurred in the top of the first inning when Randy Wolf hit Holliday with a fastball just above
his left knee.  His 15-game hitting streak will stay intact because his only
plate appearance was not an official at-bat.

>>Marlins Outslug Cubs

(Chicago, IL)  --  Carlos Lee clubbed a grand slam as the Marlins outslugged the Cubs, 9-5, in the first of a three-game series.  Jeff Baker hit a solo homer for Chicago, which had its winning streak
stopped at four.  Travis Wood was lit up for eight runs and eight hits in
four-and-two-thirds to fall to 4-and-4.  Jeff Samardzija [[ suh-MARD-juh ]] gets
the nod opposite Josh Johnson in tonight's second installment.

>>Youkilis Helps White Sox Best Boston

(Boston, MA)  --  Kevin Youkilis hit a three-run homer against his former team to help the White Sox top
Boston, 7-5.  Alejandro De Aza added a pair of RBI for Chicago, which has won
three-of-five since the break.  Phillip Humber [[ UMM-ber ]] allowed two runs
across six innings to pick up the win and Addison Reed notched his 15th save. 
Jose Quintana will toe the rubber against Felix Doubront in tonight's second
installment.

>>Woman Accused Of Stalking Cubs' Theo Epstein

(Chicago, IL)  --  A Massachusetts woman is under arrest for allegedly stalking Chicago Cubs
President Theo Epstein.  Forty-four-year-old Kathleen Kearney was nabbed Monday
night on West Addison Street.  Cops say Kearney told investigators she wanted to
invite Epstein and his family to go to church with her.  Epstein reportedly
identified Kearney as a woman who he'd previously seen lurking near his
property.  Kearney was expected to appear in court yesterday.  She's charged
with two felony counts of stalking.
