(Milwaukee, WI) -- The Cardinals fortified their bullpen by purchasing the contract of pitcher
Trevor Rosenthal before last night's game at Milwaukee. The 22-year-old
right-hander had been pitching at Double-A Springfield. To make room, pitcher Maikel Cleto was optioned to
Triple-A Memphis.

(Lake Forest, IL) -- Bears running back Matt Forte [[ for-TAY ]] finally has his long-term
contract. ESPN reports the two sides have agreed to a four-year deal worth
about $32-million. The 26-year-old tore a knee ligament in early December and
missed the rest of the season, but still rushed for nearly 15-hundred yards and
earned his first Pro Bowl selection.
