>>Cards Rally Past Brewers

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  Allen Craig's RBI single in the top of the ninth lifted the Cardinals to a 3-2 comeback win over the Brewers in the opener of a three-game series.  Craig's hit came after Matt
Holliday delivered a game-tying two-run single in the frame.  Lance Lynn struck
out 10 over seven innings in a no-decision.  Jason Motte was credited with his
fourth win for St. Louis, which stopped a three-game skid.  Joe Kelly is slated
to oppose Randy Wolf in the second of the three-game series tonight.

>>Cards Bring Up Rosenthal From Springfield

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  The Cardinals fortified their bullpen by purchasing the contract of pitcher
Trevor Rosenthal before last night's game at Milwaukee.  The 22-year-old
right-hander had been pitching at Double-A Springfield. To make room, pitcher Maikel Cleto was optioned to
Triple-A Memphis.

>>BoSox Down White Sox

(Boston, MA)  --  Adrian Gonzalez homered and plated four runs as the Red Sox spoiled Kevin Youkilis' return to Fenway with a 5-1 win over the White Sox.  In his first game in Boston since being
traded last month, Youkilis went 3-for-4 with a run for Chicago.  Adam Dunn
knocked in Chicago's only run on a ground out in the first.  Leyson Septimo was
charged with the loss.  The series continues at 6:10.

>>Cubs Open Series With Marlins

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Cubs begin a three-game series with the Marlins at Wrigley Field tonight.  Travis Wood is slated to get the start on the mound for Chicago.  Miami will counter with
Anibal Sanchez.  First-pitch will be at 7:05.

>>Bears, Forte Reportedly Agree To Four-Year Deal

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  Bears running back Matt Forte [[ for-TAY ]] finally has his long-term
contract.  ESPN reports the two sides have agreed to a four-year deal worth
about $32-million.  The 26-year-old tore a knee ligament in early December and
missed the rest of the season, but still rushed for nearly 15-hundred yards and
earned his first Pro Bowl selection.
