The recent heat wave over the Central Illinois area has some people concerned about heat related illnesses.
Dr Matt Johnson an ER doctor for Taylorville Memorial Hospital says that not sweating can actually be a symptom of a heat related illness.
Johnson says that if possible people should try to avoid the heat.
Johnson says that if you are in an emergency situation with someone having a heat related illness you should cool the person down.
