On Wednesday officers were advised of a complaint of males smoking cannabis in the Kiwanis Park area. Officers arrived and observed a blue Chevy Blazer. The officers recognized the vehicle, because it has allegedly been involved with drug activity in the past.
Officers spoke with occupants and K9 partner Echo was sent to the scene. After an investigation by Echo and officers on the scene Trevor C. Vaughn 18 of Taylorville was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
