Christian County Coroner’s Office held three inquests on Thursday night in regards to the accident that occurred on April 27. All deaths have been ruled accidental
Kenence McKenna, age 3 months, of Pana died as a result of craniocerebral injuries due to an automobile striking a fixed object. He was a back seat passenger within a car seat, as it struck a tree at a high rate of speed.
Shelly McKenna, 23 years, of Pana died as a result of multiple injuries due to an automobile striking a fixed object. She was the front seat passenger in the vehicle as it struck a tree at a high rate of speed. There was evidence of recent marijuana, alprazolam, and trazodone ingestion, and inhalation of difluorethane from computer keyboard cleaner.
Melissa Keller, 18, of Pana died as a result of multiple injuries due to an automobile striking a fixed object. She was a backseat passenger of the automobile as it struck a tree at a high rate of speed. There was evidence of recent marijuana, alprazolam, and inhalation of difluoroethane from computer keyboard cleaner.
