Even though a vote on the Tenaska Project has been postponed again, there are hopeful signs of economic development in Christian County.

Taylorville Mayor Greg Brotherton says some new jobs will be coming to the area.

It was recently announced that the completion of Route 29 has been included on the Illinois Department of Transportation's list of projects to be started this year. Bids for that work will be accepted starting June 15th.
