The new Pana Save-A-Lot opened this (Wed) morning to a huge crowd and an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 o'clock. Owners Tim and Jennifer Christer, their staff, and local dignataries were on hand to open the store, which had been operated by the family as Hometown Food Center the past 10 years.
Christer told Regional Radio News that the opening was a culmination of a month's hard work to re-tool the former grocery store.
And, Christer said the new Pana Save-A-Lot is about saving people money.
Christer said the public will be excited when they see the prices at the new Pana Save-A-Lot.
The new Pana Save-A-Lot at # 1 4th Street just south of downtown Pana, is open 8 to 8 7 days a week.
