The new Pana Save-A-Lot opened this (Wed) morning to a huge crowd and an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 o'clock.  Owners Tim and Jennifer Christer, their staff, and local dignataries were on hand to open the store, which had been operated by the family as Hometown Food Center the past 10 years.

Christer told Regional Radio News that the opening was a culmination of a month's hard work to re-tool the former grocery store.
