Bliefnick says there are plenty of exciting events for fairgoers to participate in this year.

There will be some changes to the way premium payouts are made for competitions.  There won't be any more than six winners per competition, compared to 14 in years past.  But fairgoers won't get shortchanged on entertainment or games.  Several big named artists will hit the grandstand this year, including Eric Church, Demi Lovato, and Miranda Lambert.

Fairgoers can still enjoy carnival rides, harness racing, and farm exhibits, plus eat lots of great food.  Admission to the fair will be seven dollars for adults and three dollars for children and seniors.  The fair will run from August 10th through the 19th.
