Americans are overpaying at the pump every time they're forced to choose the standard gasoline blend. That is according to the Oil Price Information Service, based on wholesale prices ethanol was $1.20 cheaper per gallon than gasoline last week.
Dave Loos, the Technology and Business Development Director with the Illinois Corn Growers Association, says that there are various reasons for the high prices at the pump.
Loos also says that Ethanol is cheaper for many reasons.
Loos says that losing government subsidies has not hurt Ethanol.
