Rumors are circulating on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade about expanding the trading time each trading day. Arlan Suderman, market analyst for Farm Futures and Farm Progress Company, explains how this all got started.

And consequently - Suderman says that window - when reports come out - would be lost and USDA would have to decide if they wanted to change when reports are released. Suderman actually talked to the Board of Trade about the rumors on Monday.

Suderman says it’s important to keep in mind that this is not set in stone - and the CME Group has not made anything official as of Monday afternoon.
