Davis is one of many Republicans contending for Johnson’s spot in Congress. Others include former Johnson Chief of Staff Jerry Clarke and State Representative Adam Brown of Decatur.

Whoever the Republicans choose will run against Bloomington Doctor David Gill who won a tightly contested primary against Matthew Goetten.
