The pain at the pump is getting more difficult to handle for motorists. The latest reading shows the price of gasoline across the U.S. has risen eleven-point-49 cents over the past two weeks.
The nationwide Lundberg Survey indicates the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline increased to close to three dollars-93 cents. Trilby Lundberg says profit margins for refiners and gasoline retailers have increased.
Among the cities included in the survey, the lowest average price was in Tulsa, Oklahoma at three-58 per gallon and the highest average price was in Chicago where drivers were shelling out four-56 per gallon.
