The Taylorville Police Department just completed a compliance check of all sex offenders residing in the city. Currently there are 17 registered sex offenders that live in the city limits of Taylorville.

Officers made contact with all 17 offenders and found two of the offenders were out of compliance with their terms of registration.

Aaron F. Hall, 35, of Taylorville was found to be out of compliance for having a social networking site and failure to report an email address.

Montinez Williams, 34, of Taylorville, was found to be out of compliance for failing to report vehicle information and cell phone information.

Following the investigations into Hall and Williams' non-compliance the cases were forwarded to the Christian County State's Attorney's Office for criminal prosecution.

The Taylorville Police Department conducts quarterly compliance checks on all registered sex offenders residing in Taylorville.
