More people in Illinois are turning to electronic filing than ever before. Illinois Department of Revenue spokesperson Sue Hofer says people are starting to see the benefits of e-filing.
Over two million people have already filed electronically this year, that's up by more than ten and a half percent from last year. Taxpayers can e-file with a tax professional, with tax preparation software, or on the Department of Revenue's website at Tax.Illinois.Gov.
Taxes must be filed by April 17th.
