The Christian County YMCA is officially opening its newly remodeled After School and Teen Center program area. After more than 250 hours of labor, the program space is ready for kids to enjoy. The project was designed by Scattergood Construction, which also constructed a closet, hung doors and installed a drop-ceiling over the 2,300 square foot room. The electrical and lighting work was completed by Morrison Electric, while the painting was handled by YMCA staff. All project materials were provided, at “cost”, by RP Lumber and Joe Meeks donated four stools.
This project was funded by the 2010 YMCA Benefit Auction.
