Police were sent to the Taylorville Wal-Mart store around 3:30 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. An employee told officers that he had seen a customer in a mobility scooter pick up some wine and eggs and leave without paying. The store employee gave cops a tentative identification of the suspect. Security videos are being reviewed as the matter remains under investigation.
