Kim Jong-il's youngest son, Kim Jong-un is expected to take over the country. The weekend passing of the 69-year-old Kim Jong-il was announced yesterday on state-run TV in the North. It's reported he suffered a massive heart attack. The White House has released a statement saying they're "closely monitoring" the situation and remain committed to stability on the Korean Peninsula.
