Governor Quinn says he hasn't done too much research on the proposal to ban drivers from using cell phones behind the wheel. But, he says he's not necessarily opposed to the idea.
Quinn says he's positive lawmakers, state police departments, and other safety agencies will give a careful review of the proposal. Highway fatalities are at an all-time low in Illinois thanks to the implementation of new laws and safe driving campaigns.
Quinn says he'll review the proposal because he's committed to saving lives on Illinois roadways.
