David Freese provided the big blow with a three-run jack in the bottom of the seventh as the Cardinals clipped the Mets, 6-5. Freese also tripled home a pair of runs in the first for St. Louis, which moved to within one-and-a-half games Braves in the NL Wild Card standings.
