Christian County Court Cases 07/08/24

The following court cases were heard in Christian County on July 8th.

 

Brian W. Balser: motion for the appointment of an expert is granted not to exceed $1500 without further order of court. Written order to follow. Case remain scheduled for final pretrial on 07/22/2024 at 1:15 PM.

 

Kirk L Cochran Jr.: By agreement, status of preliminary hearing continued to 07/23/2024 at 10 AM.

 

Denny D. Durbin: By agreement, revocation of pretrial release order vacated and Defendant ordered released from custody subject to the terms of the amended pretrial release conditions order. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 09/13/2024

 

Amber L. Fixsal:  in person preliminary hearing scheduled for 8-30-24

 

Daniel C. Jacobs:  Defendant knowingly and voluntarily waives preliminary hearing. See written waiver. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty, and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 09/13/2024

 

Jacob L. Lowe: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. Defendant knowingly and voluntarily waives preliminary hearing. See written waiver. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty, and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 09/13/2024 

 

Regina A. Poindexter: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. Defendant knowingly and voluntarily waives preliminary hearing. See written waiver. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty, and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 09/12/2024

 

Isaiah F. A. Rizzello:  PTR/Pre-trial set for 09/13/2024

 

Jaydin F. Snow:   Defendant enters negotiated plea of guilty to the charge of telephone harassment. Judgment of conviction entered. By agreement, Defendant sentenced to two years probation, 36 days in jail with credit for 18 days served, and he's ordered to pay the fine but the assessments are waived pursuant to rule 404 certification. He is ordered released from custody.

 

Matthew S. Tarrant:  Negotiated plea presented and approved by the Court, whereby Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a class III extended term felony. Judgment of conviction entered. By agreement, Defendant sentenced to two years probation. Assessments waived pursuant to rule 404 certification.
