Christian County Court Cases 05/08/2023

The following court case was heard on May 8th, 2023:

 

Michael Alde: Defendant fails to appear. Warrant to issue. Geographic limits of the warrant are Christian County and surrounding counties. Bond set at $15,000 over objection of Public defender.

 

Mysean Burden: Defendant present with Public Defender Grigsby and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-20-23 at 10 a.m. State has mader plea offer and answered discovery and PD needs to review same with counsel.

 

Carmen Carlock: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. Sentencing hearing scheduled for in person hearing 6-27-23 at 1:15 p.m. Sentencing in abstentia admonishment given.

 

Drew Collins: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. Defendant in substance abuse counseling and trying to get in for mental health counseling. Pretrial hearing set for 6-30-23 at 1:15 p.m. in person. Admonishment given.

 

Carl Fisher: Parties present by counsel. 402 conference conducted. Defendant present with Assistant Public Defender Grigsby and State's Attorney present. In person sentencing hearing scheduled for 6-23-2023 at 1:15 p.m. Probation department ordered to prepare pre-sentence investigation report. Defendant ordered to immediately report to the probation department and to submit to drug testing. Sentencing in abstentia given.

 

Ronee Foraker: Defendant present in custody with Asst. Public Defender Grigsby and State's Attorney present. Case called for preliminary hearing. Officer sworn and testifies. Court finds probable cause. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 5-26-23 at 10 a.m. State has made plea offer. Defendant has pending PSC referral. Defendant indicates she is hiring private counsel.

 

Sheyenne Johnson: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, final pretrial hearing scheduled for 9-19-23 at 1:15 p.m. Jury trial scheduled for 10-2-23 at 8:30 a.m. Both hearings are in person. Parties ordered to file pretrial motions at least 30 days before the jury trial to be heard at the final pretrial hearing. Trial in abstentia admonition given.

 

Robin Jones: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. Pretrial hearing in person 6-30-23 at 1:15 p.m. In abstentia warning given.

 

Jessie Lacy: Defendant present remotely in custody with Public defender and Special Prosecutor Kurtz present. Pretrial hearing continued to 6-2-23 at 10 a.m. by agreement of the parties. Documents received from DCFS per SDT ordered turned over to SP Kurtz who is directed to provide copies to defense counsel.

 

Amiee Miller: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. Case called for preliminary hearing. Officer sworn and testifies. Court finds probable cause. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 6-23-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Diamond Momoh: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. Negotiated plea presented and approved by the Court, whereby Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of obstructing justice (Count II). Count I dismissed pursuant to negotiated plea and at the request of the alleged victim. No judgment of conviction entered. By agreement, Defendant sentenced to two years second chance probation, 136 days in the county jail with credit for 68 days served, and she is assessed a $1000 fine plus assessments. Bond to apply and bond assignment agreement approved. Defendant also knowingly and voluntarily waives preliminary hearing. See written orders. Defendant ordered released from custody.

 

Jeffery Moreland: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, final pretrial hearing scheduled for 6-20-23 at 1:15 p.m.. Jury trial scheduled for 7-30-23 at 8:30 a.m. Both hearings are in person. Parties ordered to file pretrial motions at least 30 days before the jury trial to be heard at the final pretrial hearing. Trial in abstentia admonition given. All other pending matters are set for pretrial on 6-20-23 at 1:15 p.m.

 

Jaydin Snow: Defendant fails to appear. Warrant to issue. Geographic limits of the warrant are Christian County and surrounding counties. Bond set at $10,000 over objection of Public defender.

 

Nicholas Steele: Defendant present with Public Defender in custidy of Macon County Sheriff and State's Attorney present. By agreement, preliminary hearing continued to 6-20-23 at 10 a.m. Writ to issue.

 

Dillon Washburn: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-20-23 at 10 a.m. in person.
