Christian County Court Cases 05/01/2023

The following court cases were heard on May 1st, 2023:

 

Nathan Baker: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 5-5-23 at 9 a.m. Case called for hearing on motion for bond reduction. For reasons stated on the record, bond reduced to $15,000 subject to the terms of the pretrial release order. See written order.

 

Kayla Durbin: Sheriff's office indicated original warrant not available -- they verified that the case was taken out of LEADS.

 

Ronee Foraker: Case called for hearing on Defendant's Motion for fulough for treament. Arguments heard. Motion denied for reasons stated on the record.

 

Ashley Layton: 

 

Robert Oliver: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, first appearance and bond reduction motion (to be filed and State waives notice) for 5-2-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Bradley Stimac: Defendant present in person pro se and State's Attorney present. By agreement, hearing reset to 6-1-23 at 10 a.m. Defendant found in direct criminal contempt for language used in court. Defendant apologizes and court accepts same and declines to impose any jail time. Defendant needs to provide a clean drug test for sealing per statute.

 

Nathan Strayer: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, in person sentencing hearing scheduled for 6-1-23 at 1:15 PM. Defendant admonished re sentencing in abstentia.

 

Dennis Wilcutt: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 5-5-23 at 9 a.m. Case called for hearing on Defendant's Motion for Bond Reduction. Arguments heard. Motion denied for reasons stated on the record.
