The following court cases were heard on April 27th, 2023:
Christopher Boelling: Defendant present with Public Defender Herkert and State's Prosecuter DePaepe present. Negotiated plea presented and approved by the Court, whereby Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of burglary. By agreement, Defendant sentenced to two years probabation, 120 days in jail with 47 days served. Jail sentence stayed until 5-1-23 at 12 p.m. Defendant ordered to pay the fine and assessments set forth in the financial sentencing order. Pay or appear hearing scheduled for 6-28-23 at 9 a.m. Defendant need not appear if paid in full.
Billy Brown: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-22-23 at 10 a.m. By agreement, bond reduced to $5,000 in person.
Daniel Davis: Defendant present pro se and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-13-23 at 10 a.m. in person.
Season Fisher: Defendant present pro se and State's Attorney present. Defendant admonished regarding charges, penalties, and rights. By agreement, Public Defender appointed to represent Defendant. Preliminary hearing scheduled for 6-1-23 at 10 a.m.
Brandon Giddens: Defendant fails to appear. Warrant to issue. Geographic limits of the warrant are Christian County and surrounding counties. Bond set at $3,000 over objection of Public Defender Grigsby.
Clint Hadden: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, case continued for presentation of negotiated plea on 6-1-23 at 10 a.m. in person.
Joshua Hill: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-2--23 at 10 a.m. State answered discovery and plea offer.
Melissa Krouse: Defendant present in person with counsel and State's Attorney present. PTR withdrawn on motion of the State. Defendant has completed all requirements except payment. All balances owed in all cases forwarded to collections.
Michael Loflin: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing contined to 7-20-23 at 10 a.m. Defendant to produce status report from counselor before next hearing.
Casey Moma: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-2--23 at 10 a.m.
Benjamin Rakers: Defendant present by counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, case continued for presentation of negotiated plea on 06-09-23 at 10 a.m. in person.
Frank Sedlock: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, preliminary hearing scheduled for 6-1-23 at 10 a.m.
Justin Sexton: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 6-22-23 at 10 a.m. for all pending matters. Negotiations ongoing. Writ to issue from Sangamon County. GPS monitoring order vacated.
Robert Stivers: Defendant present in custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections with counsel and State's Attorney present. Status hearing scheduled for 6-29-23 at 10 a.m. Writ continued. Public Defender Rahar still reviewing transcripts to determine whether to amend the post-conviction petition.
Timothy Wiseman: Defendant fails to appear. Warrant to issue. Geographic limits of the warrant are Christian County and surrounding counties. Bond set at $100,00 over objection of Defendant's counsel. Bond forfeiture notice to issue returnable on 06-15-23 at 10 a.m.
