Christian County Court Cases 02/25/21

The following court cases were heard in front of Judge Brad T. Paisley on February 25th.

 

James M. Assad appeared remotely. Pretrial continued April 15th. Motion for bond modification denied after arguments heard. 

 

Richard Busboom appeared remotely. Pretrial continued April 25th.

 

Joshua Carter appeared in custody. Defendant released on $5,000 recognizance bond. First appearance with counsel set for March 29th.

 

Christopher Clark appeared in custody. Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of aggravated DUI leading to death. Clark was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Correction with 219 days already served and 2 years parole. All other charges dismissed. 

 

Trishia M. Cornwell appeared remotely. Pretrial continued to March 23rd. 

 

Carl J. Fisher appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued April 2nd. 

 

Joshua Foil appeared remotely. Negotiated plea set for March 9th.

 

Joshua Gass appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued March 25th.

 

Chism L. Haworth appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued March 5th. 

 

Evan M. Hogge appeared remotely. Negotiated plea reached. Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of criminal trespass. No judgement of conviction, will enter second chance probation. Must pay fines and fees.

 

Adam Lee appeared. Pretrial hearing set for April 21st.

 

Zachary Malone appeared in custody. First appearance with public council set for April 13th. Bond set at $4,000 with 10% to apply. 

 

Steve Maxvill does not appear, counsel does. Status hearing set for April 1st.

 

Sheila Nave appeared remotely. Negotiated plea met. Defendant pleads guilty to retail theft. Defendant sentenced to 18 months probation and 34 days in county jail with 17 days served. Pay or appear hearing set for May 26th.

 

Frank Sedlock appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued for April 27th.

 

Joshua M. Spinner appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued April 1st.

 

Marciano Williams appeared remotely. Pretrial hearing continued March 29th.
