The following court cases were heard in front of Judge Christopher Matoush;
James R. Coghlan appeared in court today. Coghlan was scheduled for a preliminary hearing today, but still has yet to hire an attorney. The defendant asked for a continuance which the state objected too, as their witness was in the courtroom. Judge Matoush granted the continuance but said, that was it and there wouldn’t be another one. Case continued for August 29th to find council.
Chiannah C. Dilley appeared in court today. Case continued and preliminary hearing set for September 3rd.
Alexandra L. Wood appeared in court today. As part of a plea deal for theft, Wood sentenced to 3 years in IDOC plus one year parole. Restitution to Walmart due at $1,874.13. Credit for 15 days already served. The defendant will also pay court fees and assessments as well.
Jesse R. Rozplochowski appeared in court today. Waives preliminary hearing, waives arraignment, pleads not guilty and requests jury trial. Jury trial set for November 4th, final pretrial set for October 8 Pretrial set for September 24th.
George Bailey appeared in court today. Motion to reduce bond continued for August 29th.
Kimberly A. Webb appeared in court today. Pleads guilty with a negotiated plea for 2 years probation for obstructing justice. Webb used her cousin’s name when she got pulled over. Will pay $1,500 fine and assessments along with 300 hours of community service.
