Christian County Court Cases 4/22/19

A Kincaid man arrested Thursday night after a domestic standoff made his first court appearance in Christian County Circuit Court Monday morning.  George Bailey was charged with aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, and assaulting a police officer.  While in court Monday morning, Bailey uttered some expletives to Circuit Court Judge Brad Paisley, and as a result was found in contempt of court.  Bond was set at one-hundred thousand dollars, and Bailey remains in the Christian County Jail.

 

Christian County Circuit Court Judge Brad Paisley heard the following cases in court on Monday Morning:  

 

Shawn T. Davis appeared to set a bond date on a burglary charge.  His case was continued to May 24th at 10AM.  

 

Tyler R. Forbes of Pana did not appear for his first appearance on multiple forgery charges.  Bond was set at thirty thousand dollars.

 

Amanda J. Haddock of Taylorville appeared in a pretrial hearing on a criminal damage to property charge.  The Christian County State’s Attorney’s Office offered a negotiated plea agreement.  The case was continued to July 17th at 9AM.  

 

Matthew W. Hoover of Pana appeared in a pretrial hearing for an obstruction of justice charge.  The Christian County State’s Attorney’s office offered a negotiated plea agreement.  The pretrial hearing was continued to June 10th at 10AM.

 

Molly F. Kitchens appeared on a negotiated plea agreement on multiple narcotics charges.  Her case was continued to June 11th at 10AM.  

 

Brittany S. Sauer made her first appearance for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.  The public defender was appointed to represent her.  Due to previous convictions, the Christian County State’s Attorney’s Office asked for bond to be set at twenty five thousand dollars.  She remains in the Christian County Jail.

 

Ashlyn Monroe appeared on a domestic battery charge.  The Christian County State’s Attorney’s office is negotiating with her attorney on a plea agreement.  A pretrial continuance was set for June 10th at 11AM.
