These are the results of the following court cases heard in the Christian County Court on Friday, September 8th:

17CF010 - Robert D. Burke - 4 Counts of Burglary - Status Hearing. Defense counsel is looking to get defendant into treatment and problem solving court. Pre-trial continued to September 15 at 10 a.m. to get all paperwork worked out.

17CM118 - Craig B. Dorsey - Criminal Trespassing to Residence and Criminal Damage to Property Less Than $500. First Appearance. Charges read to defendant. Public defender appointed. Next court date scheduled for October 4 at 9 a.m.

17CF051 - Charles T. Lee - Meth Delivery Between 15 and 100 Grams and Aggravated Meth Delivery Between 15 and 100 Grams - Pre-trial. State made an offer to defendant yesterday. Pre-trial continued until September 15 at 10 a.m., state’s offer is good until that date.

17CF112 - David W. Moore, Jr. - Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer and Aggravated Battery of a Pregnant / Handicapped Person - Pre-trial. Also multiple traffic charges. Defense has applied for problem-solving court. Jury trial is waived, defendant will plead guilty openly. He will plead guilty to both counts. Case will be pushed back to September 15 at 10 a.m. to get paperwork ready.

16CF205 - Ty E. Nation - Carrying / Possessing a Firearm in a Bar - Plea. He will plead guilty to the count, will face 2 years probation and 6 days in jail.

16CF092 - Danielle E. Patnode - Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Needle, Syringe, etc. - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Also 16CM083 - Retail Theft Less Than $300. A bed is available for defendant for treatment as of September 13 at 1 p.m. Defendant will receive a furlough order to go to treatment. Next pre-trial will be October 16 at 10 a.m.

17CF184 - Michael P. Shilling - Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault - First Appearance. Also 17CF091 - 7 Counts of Child Pornography Possession - Pre-trial. New charge presented and read to the defendant. Public defender appointed. Jury trial in other case will be continued. Preliminary hearing in 17CF184 to be held on October 2 at 10 a.m., pre-trial in 17CF091 will be continued to that date.

17CM074 - Randy L. Sparling - Criminal Damage to Property Less Than $500 - Negotiated Plea. He will plead guilty to the count, he will serve 6 months in jail and pay restitution.
