The following court cases were heard on June 16th, 2023:
Nikolas Allen: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, preliminary hearing scheduled for 7-10-23 at 10 a.m. Case called for hearing on Defendant's Motion for Bond Reduction. Defendant sworn and testifies. Arguments heard. Motion denied for reasons stated on the record without prejudice.
Jacob Bright: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 8-22-23 at 10 a.m. State has answered discovery and made plea offer. Defendant to schedule and keep appointment with his attorney to review same.
Brianna Caldwell: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. Defendant waives arraignment, denies the allegations in the Petition to Revoke. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 7-18-23 at 10 a.m.
William Dixon: Pretrial/First appear set for 6-20-23 at 10:00 a.m. in courtroom A.
Joshua Foil: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 7-28-23 at 10 a.m.
Devon Gatons: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 7-18-23 at 10 a.m. Defendant stipulates to the allegations in the petition to modify bond. Motion granted. Bond set at $50,000. Public defender to meet with Defendant regarding the pending problem-solving court referral.
Bradey Graham: Defendant present with Public Defender Rahar and State's Attorney present. Case called for preliminary hearing. ISP Special Agent Bloomfield sworn and testifies. Court finds probable cause. Defendant waives arraignment, pleads not guilty and demands trial by jury. Pretrial hearing and hearing on motion to modfiy bond scheduled for 6-29-23 at 10 a.m.
Alonzo Hoyer: Parties present by counsel. Defendant took a IDOC plea in Effingham County and is still in their jail but may be transferred to IDOC. Writ to issue. Pretrial reset to 8-22-23 at 10 a.m
Drakeem Manning: Parties by counsel. Defendant in treatment. Status reset to 7-21-23 at 10 a.m.
Jaycie Rogers: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 7-28-23 at 10 a.m. Defendant in treatment.
Anthony Sexton: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. By agreement, case continued for presentation of negotiated plea on 7-28-23 at 10 a.m. Defendant will waive preliminary hearing at that time. Parties have plea but need to work out some terms with his employment.
Isaac Vargas: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, preliminary hearing scheduled for 7-31-23 at 10 a.m. in person.
Dean Weller: Parties present by counsel. Based upon verified petition to modify bond, no bond warrant to issue with geographic limitations of the State of Illinois and surrounding states. Petition to Modify Bond filed by the State.
