Christian County Court Cases 06/02/2023

The following court cases was heard on June 2nd, 2023:

 

Charles Carron: Defendant fails to appear. Notice to appear to issue for 7-18-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Terrence Gilford: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney DePaepe present. Cased dismissed without prejudice on motion of the State.

 

Patricia Hornbuckle: Special Prosecutor DePapee appears for people; Attorney Barrows for Defendant; SA McWard may have a conflict and therefore court to appoint a special prosecutor; court will inquire if Fayette County State's Attorney to see if she can handle case. Reset for Status hearing on 6-7-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Michael Handy: Defendant present in custody with PD Senger who is one and represented by agreement of the parties. SA DePaepe present. Defendant admonished regarding the charge is impossible penalties. Proffer made. Probable cause found. Bond hearing conducted for reasons stated ont he record, court imposes cash bond in the amount of $10,000. By agreement, Defendant's oral motion for furlough to attend inpatient substance abuse treatment granted upon the availability of event. Written order to follow. Defendant ordered not to be released until written order is entered with treatment plan specifics. First appearnce with counsel scheduled for 6-19-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Jessie Lacy: Defendant present remotely in custody with Public defender and Special Prosecutor Kurtz present. Bond hearing remains set 6-5-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Cedrick Pates: Defendant present remotely with APD Grigsby. Special Prosecutor Kurtz present remotely.By agreement, pretrial hearing continued 8-1-23 at 10 a.m. remote.

 

Jeremy Reiss: Defendant present with Public Defender and State's Attorney present. By agreement, pretrial hearing continued to 7-21-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Tyler Sigretto: Defendant present with counsel and State's Attorney present. Defendant waives arraignment, denies the allegations in the 2nd Amended Petition to Revoke. Pretrial hearing scheduled for 8-18-23 at 10 a.m.

 

Christina Wertz: Defendant present in custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections with counsel and ASA DePaepe present. Case dismissed on motion of the State without prejudice. Warrant quashed. No further settings.
