These are the results of the following court cases heard in the Christian County Court on Friday, May 5th:

17CF047 - Deven A. Barger - Aggravated Fleeing - Preliminary Hearing. Also 17CF081 - Unlawful possession of a weapon charge was filed. Defense renewed motion for furlough to seek drug rehabilitation. State objected due to criminal history. Furlough request is denied. Preliminary hearing for CF047 charge is waived. Preliminary hearing on new charge and Pre-trial on other pending charges set for June 1 at 10 a.m.

17CF075 - Jacob J. Graham - Aggravated Battery in a Public Place - Motion Hearing. Defendant has motion to be represented by public defender. Defendant has lost job since last court date. Motion is granted. First appearance with counsel scheduled for May 25th at 10 a.m.

17CF014 - Robert L. King - Fraud greater than $1,000 - First appearance. Defendant is requesting to be represented by public defender. Public defender is assigned, with possibility of reimbursing some or all of defender’s services. First appearance with counsel June 8th at 10 a.m.

16CF064 - Eric J. Merritt - Meth Possession - Motion hearing. Defendant failed to appear.

17CM043 - Gregory J. Robbins - Battery - First appearance. Defendant requests public attorney. Public defender assigned. First appearance with counsel set for June 8th at 10 a.m.

16CF126 - Dwain E. Sarver - Aggravated Battery on a Peace Officer - Motion hearing. Defendant looking for credit for 78 days served instead of 39 days filed by state. It was not on the record that he would received 78 days credit, his plea shows that he would receive 39 days. Motion is denied.

15CF052 - Johnny E. Weber - Domestic Battery - Pre-trial. Defendant has begun counseling. Pre-trial continuance set for July 6th at 10 a.m.
