Christian County Court Cases 12/8/16

These are the results of the following court cases heard on Thursday, December 8th at the Christian County Courthouse.

 

16CF058 - Crowder, Christian - PreTrial - Defendant was released from VA hospital on November 29th. Defense has gotten verification of that, and says they aren’t sure if defendant was aware of the court date and that they will notify him of the next court date. No objection from state. Next court date set for January 13th.

 

15CF016 - Klyber, Amanda J - Motion Hearing - Defense asking for additional 30 day period so she can work out some issues regarding payments. No objection from state. Next court date set for January 12th.

 

16CF106 - Page, Vincent B - Status - Defendant has been an applicant for specialty court, but has been denied. Currently on ankle monitor. Agreement reached to remove monitor and moves to continue case for possible plea. Next court date set for January 19th.

 

16CF092 - Patnode, Danielle E - PreTrial - State and defense has agreement to bond. Defendant will be released on $10,000 recognizance bond and will be fitted for electronic home confinement. Will be released for medical reasons as well as for DCFS visits with children. Defense still waiting for lab results from crime lab. Lab is currently 6 months behind. Probation office will assist defendant with finding residential treatment once it’s available. Next court date set for January 5th.

 

16CF021 - Rozplochowski, Pamela J - PreTrial - Agreement reached for modification of bond allowing defendant to search for a bed for drug treatment. State doesn’t oppose a furlough once a bed is found, but not until then.

 

16CF104 - Rozplochowski, Pamela J - PreTrial - Agreement reached for modification of bond allowing defendant to search for a bed for drug treatment. State doesn’t oppose a furlough once a bed is found, but not until then.

 

16CF226 - Rozplochowski, Pamela J - Prelim Hearing - State calls officer Aaron Reimann with the Taylorville Police Department to the stand. Testified that he was dispatched to the lobby of TPD for a stolen vehicle report. Said he spoke with a couple who said their son took their vehicle to wrestling practice, left the keys under the center console, and when he returned the vehicle was gone. Also spoke with the couple’s son, and the Taylorville High School Principle. Said the parents had called the TPD saying a friend of the son had seen the vehicle, and had a description of the male and female in the vehicle. Officers later found male and female, and identified the female as defendant. Defendant was interviewed on scene and after being taken into custody. Said she was with another party who she said she believed she had taken the truck. Other party said she should take the truck for a while. Later encountered a party who said the vehicle was stolen and that she was calling the police. Defendant got scared and ditched the vehicle. Defense asked several questions asking if any of the witnesses identified the defendant to which they had not. Also asked if there was any hard evidence showing the defendant stealing the vehicle, and if she knew the vehicle had been stolen. Probable cause found. Defense waives formal arraignment and requests jury trial and pretrial. February 22nd set for Jury. February 16th set for pretrial.

 

16CF044 - Sklenka, Brett M - PreTrial - Defense moves to continue pretrial and jury trial. State needs a motion from defense for some information they have. No objection from state for the continue of the dates. January 20th for pretrial. February 27th for jury trial.

 

16CF229 - Brian Ferguson - Motion Hearing - Defense asks for public defender. Court appoints public defender. Matter set for first appearance with counsel for December 9th.
