34-year-old Steven A. Martinez of Taylorville, was arrested for Harassment by Telephone and Disorderly Conduct.

55-year-old Melissa D. Cushing of Taylorville, was arrested on a Warrant.

36-year-old Collin A. Shoemaker of Taylorville, was arrested for Retail Theft.

48-year-old Charles H. Steward of Taylorville, was arrested for Retail Theft.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS:

On 05/13/26

At approximately 1:04 PM, Ryan S. Bowsher of Taylorville was traveling west on East Elm Street, approaching the intersection at North Cherokee Street. Bowsher stopped at the stop sign positioned at the intersection and considering Bowsher had the right of way, they proceeded to move through the intersection. Kimberly Barringer from Rosamond, ran the stop sign at that intersection, failing to yield to the right of way that was currently held by Bowsher. As Barringer entered the intersection, he struck Bowsher in the rear passenger side portion of his vehicle.
