Vehicle Accidents:

3-26-26

Christina Pitman, 35, of Nokomis was traveling south on county highway 1 in Johnson Township when a deer entered the roadway. The vehicle made contact with the deer on the diver side of the vehicle.

3-28-26

Thomas Getting, 20, of Mt. Auburn and Norma Shartzer, 94, of Mt. Auburn.

Getting was traveling north on Maple St. and Shartzer was traveling west on E Main St. when Getting failed to yield the right of way and struck Shartzer in the intersection.

3-29-26

Erin Paulson, 42, of Centralia was traveling west near 2470 E 100 North RD when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and entered a ditch. The vehicle then struck a culvert.

Brandie Nelson, 36, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Domestic Battery.

Keagan Phillips, 22, of Taylorville was arrested by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office for DUI.

Gage Allard, 20, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Domestic Battery.

Brianna Young, 20, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Domestic Battery.
