The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

1/21/26

Shalee Bayne, 34, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police department for Aggravated Battery, Criminal Damage to Property and Violation of Probation Supervision.

1/22/26

Ashlyn Hrabak, 28, of Assumption was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis and Bringing Contraband into Penal Institution.

Brent Musser, 35, of Rosamond was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Driving While License Revoked or Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine, Illegal Possession of Weapon by Felon and Violation of Pretrial Release.

Jason Lindsey, 50, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Criminal Trespass to Building, Theft and Violation of Pretrial Release.

The following crashes were also reported;

 

1/11/26 at 3:22 a.m.

Douglas Crowder, 41, of Taylorville was traveling eastbound on IL RT 104 at 980 East RD when the driver stated a vehicle had entered his lane of traffic and he swerved to avoid a head on collision. The driver lost control and crashed into the south ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn, causing significant injury.

1/23/26 at 11:01 p.m.

Bradley Babbs, 41, of Bulpitt was traveling north on County Highway 5 around 1500 North RD in South Fork Township when a deer entered the roadway and made contact with the driver side of the vehicle.

1/24/26 at 6:36 p.m.

Brian Hardimon, 26, of Moweaqua was traveling south on US Highway 51 when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to adverse weather conditions. The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and collided into a ditch embankment.
