Justin Bright, 38, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Possession of Methamphetamine.
Rebecca Burke, 45, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Possession of Methamphetamine.

Jordan Monroe, 34, of Chatham was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Impersonating Member, Illegal Possession of Weapon by Felon and Unlawful Restraint.

Thomas Coy, 60, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Criminal Trespass to Land and Violation to Probation/Supervision.

Ryan Ellenburg, 22, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Order of Protection Violation.
9/22/25 at 6:15 a.m.
Markiee Miller, 35, of Assumption was traveling west on 1100 North RD at about 2150 East RD. A deer entered the roadway and the vehicle hit the deer causing front and front passenger side damage.
9/17/25 at 2:38 p.m.
William Durbin, 44, of Pana was traveling north on IL RT 48 when the vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and collided with a ditch on the east side of IL RT 48 and was found on its top. The driver was removed from the scene by ambulance and the vehicle was towed by Kertow’s Towing.
9/20/25 at 4:54 a.m.
Ethan Snow, 19, of Lima, OH was traveling east on 1800 North RD and traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch on the north side of the road.

Ryan P. Ellenburg, age 22, of Taylorville, was arrested for Violation of Order of Protection.
Justin M. Bright, age 38, of Taylorville, was arrested for Fighting in Public.
George T. Bailey, age 52, of Taylorville, was arrested for Fighting in Public.

Ashton L. Johnson, age 21, of Alton Illinois, was arrested for Public Intoxication.
The following accidents were investigated by the Taylorville Police Department:
On September 13th 2025 at 7:28 AM a vehicle was parked off the raodway on N. Snodgrass Street. A vehicle driven by a minor was backing out of a parking space and struck the parked vehicle. The minor left to head home, but police say he did text the owner of the parked vehicle to explain what happened.
On September 16th 2025, Michael E. Elmer of Springfield stated he was stopped at a turn lane of North Webster Street heading south on Webster. Tara N. Sicilia of Taylorville didn't stop in time striking the back of Elmer. Both vehicles reported damage. No injuries were reported.
On September 17th, 2025 at Main Cross and Cherokee. Jillian R. Layton of Taylorville was traveling south on Cherokee Street, stopped at the stop sign and continued when it was clear when it was clear to do so. A minor failed to yield to Layton, entered the intersection and struck their vehicle on the rear drivers side. No injuries were reported.
On September 19th, 2025 Northern Ave. and N. Webster Street. Mark A. Merritt of Illiopolis, lost control while turning left onto N. Webster Street due to the roadway being wet. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected and received minor injuries.
On September 19th, 2025 at 1:30 PM on Route 29 and Grant. Phyllis J. Greenwalt of Edinburg was waiting at the stop light on Rt. 29 @ Grant whenDalton R. Gatons of Pana rear ended it. Dalton R. Gatons was issued one citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid accident. Greenwalt was
transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital by Dunn's Ambulance.
