The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
9/19/24
Sean Neville, 29, of Taylorville was arrested by Taylorville Police Department for Armed Violence, Possession of 15<100 Grams of Meth, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
James Crepin, 51, of Taylorville was arrested by Taylorville Police Department for Criminal Fortification of Residence.
Patrick Carr, 27, of Taylorville was arrested by Taylorville Police Department for Armed Violence, Unlawful Use of Weapon, 3 counts of Meth Delivery, Criminal Fortification of Residence, and Possession of 15<100 Grams of Meth.
David McMann, 61, of Pana was arrested by Pana Police Department for Domestic Battery.
Joseph Beeson, 38, was arrested by Taylorville Police Department for 15<100 Grams Meth, Meth Delivery, and Criminal Fortification of Residence.
9/21/24
Eric Fleharty, 54, of Pana was arrested by the Pana Police Department for Crash Injury and Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm.
CRASHES
8/15/24
William Girrulat, 57, of Pana was traveling West on West DeWitt Street in Pana at 9:30 a.m. As he approached 606 DeWitt, the vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway and collided with the mailbox. He then continued West to the location of 2300 East 350 North RD where he crashed into the ditch embankment causing disabling damage. It was determined that the driver had a serious medical issue.

William Smith, 49, of Kincaid was traveling North on 1600 East RD at about 1375 North. The driver stated that a deer entered the roadway and he swerved to miss the deer. The vehicle went off the West side of the roadway and up an embankment causing damage to the vehicle. The vehicle then drove North on the top of the embankment before dropping down back to the roadway and had damage to the front end, passenger running board and a flat tire. The side airbag deployed and the vehicle was towed by Kertow Towing.
9/16/24
Unit 1 (James Curtin, 56, of Taylorville driving a John Deere Combine) Unit 2 (Carl Hayes, 69, of Edinburg driving a school bus). Unit 2 at 3:50 p.m. was traveling North on 1200 East RD at the approximate location of 2282 North RD in Edinburg. As Unit 2 proceeded through the curve, Unit 1 collided with Unit 2 from the opposite direction.
