The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

7/22/24

Sharon Southard, 76, of Taylorville and Mitchel Pride, 37, of Decatur were traveling Northeast on IL RT 48 when Southard slowed down to make a right turn onto 2300 North Road when Pride failed to reduce speed and collided into the rear of Southard’s vehicle.

7/23/24

Pamela Chasteen, 61, of Taylorville was traveling Westbound on IL RT 104 through Kincaid. The vehicle attempted to turn left onto Beech St. but failed to properly negotiate the turn and left the roadway; putting the front end of the vehicle into a ditch, coming to a rest against a culvert.
