The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

11-29-23 Jacob Mundell was traveling west on 350 North Road when a deer entered the roadway. Mundell was unable to avoid the deer and struck it in the roadway causing damage to the vehicle's front end. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

11-29-23 Diane King was traveling eastbound on Langleyville Road in Taylorville township when a deer struck the vehicle on the driver's side. No injuries. No tow.

11-29-23 Jared Stuemke was traveling west on IL Route 104 in South Fork township when a deer entered the roadway. Stuemke struck the deer with the front end of the vehicle. No injuries. No tow.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Amber L. Fixsal, age 41, of Taylorville was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

11/28/23

Michael T. Morrissey, age 34, of Kincaid Illinois was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Ammunition by a Felon.

Prentice R. Frost, age 18, of Taylorville was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property.
