The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Arrests

6-23-23 Randy Bess, age 65, of Ridgeway was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for driving on suspended license.

6-23-23 Richard Ginger, age 40, of Dawson was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for burglary.

6-23-23 Dalton Allen, age 23, of Decatur was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for aggravated battery.

6-24-23 Grey Seiders, age 48, of Palmer was arrested by CCSO for driving under the influence.
 

Crashes

6-22-23 Makaylynn Eakle was traveling south on IL Route 29 on 800 North Road when a deer entered the roadway. Eakle was unable to avoid hitting the deer. The vehicle was driven from the scene. No injuries.

6-22-23 Amanda Carnahan was heading southbound on County Highway 22 when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. Carnahan struck a curve alignment marker with her driver mirror. Carnahan then entered the ditch on the west side of County Highway 22 impacting on the front passenger door. No injuries. No tow.

6-24-23 Tim Coonrod and William Hughes were involved in a traffic crash in Taylorville township. Coonrod was traveling South on 1350 East road at the bridge south of IL Route 48. Coonrods driver stated his soda fell in his vehicle which caused him to hit Hughes mirror when he went to pick it up. Hughes was traveling North on the bridge and stated Coonrod was swerving all over the roadway. Hughes driver stated he tried to avoid Coonrod by steering Hughes to the far right side of the bridge. Coonrod struck Hughes driver’s side mirror with his driver’s side mirror. Both Units sustained damage to their driver’s side mirrors. No injuries were reported. Coonrod was towed from the

scene.

6-25-23 Ywyla, Durrah was traveling southwest on IL Route 48 when a deer ran into the roadway and struck the left fender of the vehicle. No injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

6-25-23 Christiana Wiseman was traveling on 900 North Road in Johnson township when she hit a deer in the roadway. No injuries. No tow.

Charlene L. Ray, age 70, of Morrisonville Illinois was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. 

Elijah J. Robbins, age 18, of Taylorville was arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

Zaibry M.R. Russell, age 19, of Pana Illinois was arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

A Juvenile Male, age 17, of Taylorville was arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

A Juvenile Male, age 17, of Pana Illinois was arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

A Juvenile Male, age 16, of Pana Illinois was arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

Travis D. Kennedy, age 39, of Taylorville was arrested for DUI.
