The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Crashes

5-4-23 Alexis Talkington was driving northwest on 2700 North Road as about 625 East in Mt. Auburn township when a deer into the roadway. Talkington was unable to avoid hitting the deer and came to the Sheriff’s office to make a report. No injuries. No tow.

5-30-23 Taylor Hunt was going west on 1250 N. Road when a deer ran into the roadway. Hunt was unable to avoid hitting the deer. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries.

6-6-23 Alisa Whitchurch was traveling east on Langleyville Road near the intersection with Broaddus Road when a deer jumped out into the side of the vehicle. The driver was able to drive the vehicle from the scene. No injuries.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Charles M. Carron, age 33, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant.

Theodore W. Workman, age 54, of New Berlin Illinois was arrested for Possession/Delivery of Methamphetamine.

Keith J. Weller, age 34, of Taylorville was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

6/06/23

Jacob C. Krouse, age 38, of Taylorville was arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer.
