The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Arrests

4-3-23 Tressie Barter, age 36, of Pana was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for driving on suspended license.

4-3-23 Dale Detmers, age 47 was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.

4-4-23 William Thomas, age 36, of Pana was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.

Crashes

3-26-23 Madelyn Rule was going east on county road 5 coming down the hill approaching the intersection of 1100 N and 700 E Road. Rule lost control on the wet road and could not make the turn in the road and veered off the roadway, struck a utility pole, and ended up in the field at the bottom of the hill. Neither driver or passenger went to the hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

3-31-23 Ricky Bradshaw and Robert Sanders-Emery were involved in a traffic crash in Assumption township. Sanders-Emery was traveling south on US Highway 51. Bradshaw was traveling east on Illinois Street and approached the intersection at US Highway 51. Bradshaw Stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection. Sanders-Emery hit Bradshaw in the lane of traffic. After the crash, Bradshaw drove from the scene. No injuries. No tow.

3-31-23 Catlin Nadyne was traveling west on 1500 North Rd. in Prairieton township when she went off the roadway to the north, turning the vehicle on its side. No injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

4-2-23 Sandra Klein and Bruce Lowe II were involved in a traffic crash in Stonington. Klein was backing from the private driveway of the residence at 302 W. Wabash Avenue in Stonington. (The private drive entrance/exit is located approximately 125 feet south of W. Wabash Avenue on N. Church Street.) Lowe II was traveling southbound on N. Church Street. Klien backed into the roadway and struck Lowe II. Klein received minor rear end damage. Lowe II received minor front end damage. No injuries were reported.

4-3-23 Anastasia Austin was traveling west on township road 1350 N. and lost control of her vehicle, went off on the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, went across the roadway, struck the ditch, causing her vehicle to end up in the field. The vehicle came to a rest on the south side of the ditch. Austin was taken to the emergency room. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

4-4-23 Joshua Jones and Jessica Baird were involved in a traffic crash. Jones and Baird were traveling west on 1500 North Rd. Jones was hauling construction equipment, including a step ladder. The step ladder fell out of his vehicle into the roadway, striking Baird on the front of the vehicle. No injuries. No tow.
