The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

1-20-23 Levi Durbin, age 23, of Taylorville was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer.

1-20-23 Jahquel Pearsall, age 20 was arrested by Sangamon County on a Christian County warrant for burglary.

1-20-23 Mysean Burden, age 20 was arrested by Sangamon County on a Christian County warrant for burglary.

1-20-23 Kimberly Carrell, age 29, of Pana was arrested by CCSO for meth precursor.

1-22-23 Nathaniel Bain, age 33, of Mattoon was arrested by Pana PD on a FTA warrant for burglary.

Crashes

1-17-23 Andrew Brown was traveling southeast on IL-Rt. 104 in Taylorville Township at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went into a skid crossing the west bound lane of traffic and was sideways when it left the roadway. The driver side rear end of the bed was the first to make contact with the ditch embankment. The vehicle then went into the air and landed on the front end grill area of the truck. The vehicle then landed on the driver side and continued to skid back across both lanes of IL-Rt. 104 to the south. When Brown ran off the road on its side the vehicle then flipped one time and landed on the wheels. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Brown was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

1-20-23 Patrick Huston was traveling East on 2675 North Rd at 600 East RD when a deer entered the roadway. Huston was unable to avoid the deer. Huston struck the deer and sustained damage to the vehicle’s front end. Huston was able to drive from the scene. No injuries were reported.
